At the heart of the SlideCut lies a revolutionary design: the blades are guided by a micro ball bearing system that allows the upper blade to glide forward as the scissors open, and retract back into position when they close. This produces a completely unique cutting action — a simultaneous pulling and slicing movement combined with the traditional scissor closing principle. The result is a fatigue-free, exceptionally sharp, and controlled cut, even on dry hair. The micro ball bearing joint also ensures a large, stable contact surface between the blades, giving unmatched smoothness and preventing excess pressure on the edges, no matter the cutting technique.

Forged from SG2 powder-metallurgical sinter steel, hardened consistently to 61–62 HRC right to the core, the SlideCut delivers maximum sharpness, hardness, and durability.
